2026 begins with one defining leadership lesson from 2025: Meaning.

As I reflect on my journey and the themes I shared this year, one insight stands above all:
Life is neutral.

2026 begins with one defining leadership lesson from 2025: Meaning. As I reflect on my journey and the themes I shared this year, one insight stands above all: Life is neutral. There is no good or bad, only the meaning we assign to experience. One of the biggest mindset traps I uncovered in 2025 was what I call the missing-percentage fallacy: Focusing on the 5% not achieved. The 0.11% that didn’t round up. The 50 metres short of 8km. The 10% gap in performance. The “only” 1kg lost after many hours of discipline. That focus subtly trains us to measure lack instead of growth. Yet this year gave me: • Better health • Stronger emotional awareness • Deeper connections • 90% of meaningful work completed • And countless lessons from what didn’t go exactly as planned I didn’t fail, I expanded. And expansion always requires new methods, new collaborations, new strategies and new ways of being. I also experienced relationships that began and ended within the same year. Instead of framing them as losses, I choose gratitude for meeting new people and learning new ways of relating. Like nature itself, life is made of multiple elements: Air, water, earth and fire. We don’t get to keep one and reject the rest. They are all necessary. They are all part of the same design. As I step into 2026, I am not chasing more. I am choosing trust, alignment and elevated perspective. Sometimes leadership looks like standing firm on the ground. And sometimes it looks like letting the wind carry you. This year, I’m choosing to fly. I choose the air element. It sure doesn’t come alone, but I choose to run on the ground with the swiftness of the air, I choose to sail through the water… sailing though carried by the wind, I choose to be the smoke that comes up as the fire burns and the cracking sound that fills the air. I want to be the oxygen that keeps the fire burning. I choose air, and I choose the rest, and I choose rest. Cheers to a beautiful, airy and prosperous 2026 🌬️. Let the sun arise to a new page…

2026 begins with one defining leadership lesson from 2025: Meaning.

As I reflect on my journey and the themes I shared this year, one insight stands above all:

There is no good or bad, only the meaning we assign to experience.

One of the biggest mindset traps I uncovered in 2025 was what I call the missing-percentage fallacy:

  • Focusing on the 5% not achieved.

  • The 0.11% that didn’t round up.

  • The 50 meters short of 8km.

  • The 10% gap in performance.

  • The “only” 1kg lost after many hours of discipline.

That focus subtly trains us to measure lack instead of growth.

Yet this year gave me:

  • Better health

  • Stronger emotional awareness

  • Deeper connections

  • 90% of meaningful work completed

  • And countless lessons from what didn’t go exactly as planned

I didn’t fail, I expanded.
